Bar b qued an entire chicken on Sunday. Rubbed it with Jamaican Jerk spice we got down there.. Let it sit in fridge for a while, then cooked it for 3 hours on very low heat.. OMG was it ever good.. First time we have done it like that.

They need a defense pair that can take the toughs this year. Give Gardiner-Phaneuf some freedom. Kind of like what Chicago does with Keith.

not playing with good D partner
gets beat wide
forwards not doing a good job playing 2 way
he just sucks and isnt a #1

whatever it may be, if you ask me, you combine all those first 4 and yeah, he would look like he sucks and isnt a legit #1.

what i ask is give him a D man better than a #5 or an AHL for lifer and guess what, the guy will improve; no doubt about it.

we got him 7 years ladies, he aint going anywhere.

Meh, I like Dion. I think if he had an actual #2 he would look a lot like a #1. Let's face it, when he got to Toronto everyone queefed their pants full. But since we stuck him with AHL players/fringe NHL'ers/and a guy with a broken hip he automatically sucks. I'd almost bet money on it that RC tells Dion not to go for the big hits anymore, basically because he has been the only descent NHL dman on the team for quite sometime. I mean the Leafs d brass has been embarrassing for quite sometime now. Dion had to drag them along. Sucks for him really.

Off topic, we were taking my daughter to her grandparents in Collingwood on the weekend. On the way up I see something new...a field with 15 foot telephone poles stuck in the ground and thousands of luscious hop vines spiraling up the posts and onto acres and acres of trellis. I almost started to cry.
