far as im concerned, there are 29 teams whose threads should have a large portion of negative hockey-related comments. nothing wrong with having expectations and not blindly assuming every move your team makes is great.

I get what you were saying see it so much of it sometimes doesn't even register what people view it. I really don't like pics with guys on the ice bleeding as that tends to really hit home when you see that.

There is a montage of headshot hits in the thread with the players lying on the ice hurt (mostly Lindros). It is distasteful.

I really think we take a run at Markstrom out of Vancouver...I don't particularly like his stats but you could get him for cheap and hope he turns into even a smidgen of what he was supposed to be. You never know - they stated they talked to some teams that needed to make moves first. I think one of those teams could've been us.

Lindors was a great player, but soft. His carrier could of been so much better if he was healthy. But as well he is a great guy donating millions of $. I just think he deserves more respect than he is getting in this thread.

Yeah. I'm also wondering which center they'll be matching up with others 1st lines. They don't have a 'shut-down line' anymore, so our 1st line vs other teams 1st line? I dont know.

Yup it's uncertain. Safe to assume Komarov will be in that role so maybe Kontiola gets paired with him and another grinding winger - maybe Clarkson or Frattin or even Bodie. I think they'll go with a third scoring line ...Holland, with maybe a Frattin or Santorelli or some Marlies.

Can't disagree ...if it's hockey talk it should be good. Ignore the convo if you don't like it. The pics become a little tedious ....at least for the literate among us.
