sure, he was on the olympic team, but he wasnt the BOSS of the olympic team..

sure, he won a norris, but he didn't win ALL the norris'

also, he plays on a team i don't like, so he obviously sucks! why can't you people understand? the only time the Habs havent overachieved in years was when they missed the playoffs, . please don't look up the definition of 'overachieve' .

point is, I don't like Subban, so anything bad anyone says about him is true, and all the good things said about him are false.

Subban called me up on the bat-phone and asked me to write a sarcastic post on hockeybuzz. Also, desharnais told me to tell everyone that his name, translated into english , is 'mayonaise'.

The Habs rolled the dice on PK a couple seasons ago and lost BIG TIME!

PK took the hit and now it's the organization's turn. I hope PK takes the Habs for eight figures per.

Dont be silly.

Hes one of the most electric and game changing players in the nhl. I hate mtl, but watching the boston series was painful as subban was so dangerous everytime he touched the puck. And was unstoppable on the pp.

He has a few warts defensively. But theyre getting better.
At least ten better?? Im sure there are more than ten better defensively, but the total package and that much of a difference maker? U could count those on one hand.

He's got to prove it on both ends to warrant that kind of money, IMO. No doubt he'll get paid, but is he worth all that? I'm not so sure. If he improves in his own end then there's no question in my mind you bite the bullet and pay him.

gm's love the bridge to save cash. but this is the other side of the coin when they get the short term bridge, but said player turns into a true superstar.

Precisely.

Organizations can't have it both ways, and star players won't let them ESPECIALLY if it's at their expense.

his defensive game is getting more solid. and will continue to do so.

but his impact on the game, and ability to take it over is what makes him so special.
it really overrides the warts imo.

watching that boston series was crazy. they had no answer for him. montreal got their bridge, now they need to pay one of their 2 franchise cornerstones
