ROR has hardly played Center this past year. He's only effective when he's on Duchene's wing. Whenever they took him away from Duchene he disappeared.

I have no doubts that Marleau is in play.....but why on God's green a Earth would he trade Marleau for a washed up, expensive flash in the pan? Lol

They have two goalies under contract who are better and cheaper than Ward. DWil makes that trade and he better have his walking papers soon after. This trade makes less than zero sense from the Sharks perspective.

If anything, I could imagine the Sharks looking at Justin Faulk.

If anyone is untouchable on the canes roster Faulk is it. My guess is the reason Cam is being involved in the trade is for the money to work. There are a lot of reasons this wouldn't work Francis already said he was going into the season with both goalies, I can't imagine Cam has great trade value, and like you said why would the sharks want him(except he is a proven playoff performer, 2009/2006). The only way this works is Marleau and a backup goalie for Cam plus prospects picks and maybe a roster player(bottom pairing dman or an over slotted wing). Still don't see it working.

Wrong. I know plenty of Avs fans who agree. Yeah, his offensive skill is behind all of those players, no question. But his 200ft game is by far the best on the team. Quickly becoming one of the best in that category league wide.
