If the roles were reversed RoR would struggle to get 20 on Toronto just like he struggled to get 18 on a bad Colorado team. Legend of RoR keeps growing. But apparently 29 out of 29 gms would take him over jvr. |

Obviously, but you were arguing that because JVR made the US Olympic team he was a better player. Both are different nationalities and the US team had a much weaker roster and much less talent to work with than the Canadian team did. I like JVR, but ROR is a better player any day. - biglove89
I never said that. They're two completely different players, and I'm not sure one does his job better than the other. |

Lol Im sure you're team would! Two years ago Colorado was near the bottom of the league. No Mack, Duchene was injured for the whole season and Landy was a rookie ... RoR put up 55 points playing on a line with Steve (frank)ing Downie. But ok... leaf and sabers fans know best! I may as well go outside and argue with a tree! |

just stop with that. It's not an entire fan base that disagrees with u. Apparently having a bad hockey team means u r less qualified as a fan lol. Mapleleafs almost instantaneously became a non cellar dweller with the acquisition of jvr via trade. I think RoR is a good player but ur almost forcing me to bash him. |

I prefer having a guy who is a top line player and has historically made every team he was on better and scores more goals in less games annnndddd no contract drama every other year. |

Do the Flames have a new bag of pucks we can get for Bailey? - 22bossy
haha some Sabres fan thought that Gio would have to go the other way....
what a noob
Bailey is kinda like our Backlund....decent, but nothing great
Backlund probably has more upside as he's been making marked improvement and has played less NHL games. Why would we want another mediocre top 9 centerman? |

I was thinking more like T.J. Brodie and a 3rd pick for Bailey - btbossman
Not familiar with this player, don't get to see the Flames much, but judging from his basic stats it's likely he alone is too good for Bailey, never mind with the draft pick. If I can get a defensive defenseman who is breathing and doesn't suck altogether for #12, I'd consider that an epic win. ....and by the way, why is it that every player who has worn that number other than Sutter is a useless piece of crap? Maybe we ought to have retired it when Duane left. It's like having number one and number two....especially number two.... |

I liked Visnosky when he was a king but I guess Mr. High and wide and big Matt Greene was more than worth it!! |

Visnovsky is what he is- a solid power play QB when healthy. The problem is that they pair him with Hickey, which is like having opposing forwards skating down the ice and seeing this standing in front of them:

I don't know, I'd take JvR. Considering the interest in RoR, he might come at a slightly cheaper price. |

Apparently he's the worst signing of the millennium and he'll score -24 points and drag the team down for 5 whole years |
