I think jvr is a better player than RoR. Jvr would make just about any teams top line, including Colorado.

ROR is a franchise player. The sky is the limit for this guy IMO.

We've been brainwashed to think defense is a 1000 times more important than offense ((Leaf fans still say Kulemin was their best "Two-way" forward ). JVR was second overall, and is a very good forward on a great contract ROR is about to be overpaid badly.

Andrew Macdonald is a piece of junk. I'm not saying that because of sour grapes I'm saying it bcs it's true. Great first season and went down hill from there. Capuano was a moron(still is btw)for giving him the assignments and minutes he did. I've watched him as a Flyer and have no idea what you guys see in him? He was just as bad on a better team. Our defense improved after that trade. If you guys love him great. I'm happy he's not here anymore.

I do find the entire "Two-Way" forward argument has gone WAY overboard. I've never seen a time it's harder to score a 5 on 5 goal, yet it seems like defense is more valued than offense.

That's why Phil Kessel is very underrated and seen as a crappy player. The guy can get 35+ goals, be PPG with anyone.
