My opinion about Sharp is this....if the Hawks are in fact moving him because of off the ice issues particularly about what A LOT of athletes do.....then they can't ever show Bobby Hull's mug on the jumbotron or during a broadcast again. Bobby Hull was obviously a great hockey but a scumbag of a person and if he gets a free pass for being a wife beater than Sharp should be okay and the Hawks FO...more like their marketing department should get over it.

this I don't disagree with. Especially if the now can work. As in 12 months and then he's gone. Agents don't come out and panic for no reason and there is legit smoke around sharpy.

If sharp here means another cup you take it unless his production can be replaced internally through a few guys or externally.

You know when something was done about it? When said player wasn't the player he once was anymore, so they traded him to the LA Kings for a rather nominal return.

The Kesler of now puts up the same numbers as Andrew Shaw. I didn't think he and Kane were impressive together at all in the Olympics.

Were that close to getting Kesler? I really don't doubt they had interest but I don't think deal was ever that close to happening.

Sharp still has value thus what I assume is the Leer of dealing of him. On ice hard or replace that production.

Per Benning they were. They were in it until.the end no reason for him to bs that when he's already traded him.

It's over. Kesler is a duck and I just hope he doesn't haunt this team for what could have been.

What I do find ironic is Richards spurned this team back when he went to Dallas. Tallon had a trade and supposedly Richards said no.

Can't see him easily letting him go. Guys don't skate like leddy and leddy is very good offensively. Physical tools ar3 there. Needs coaching and needs to want to be what he could be

I agree with this. But I also agree with Steve in that if it affects the team then something has to happen. If that fight between sharp and Kane happened it may have been related to this stuff. But I think it is a good idea to trade Sharp for other reasons

I think there's a big difference between a 22-23 year old kid getting drunk in public during his offseason and a 32 year old man allowing his personal life to effect his job performance.

A focused Patrick Sharp would've put this team in the SCF.

A professional athlete thats fake? GET OUTTA TOWN! I bet half our team is "fake". Who cares. I support the team that plays on the ice, not my business to care or judge the people they are off it. I am afraid of his value, though. I do think Sharp packaged with a leddy would get you a nice return. But who knows? At least he doesn't need to be traded for a center that can play NOW. I wouldn't mind a tough roster-ready winger and a prospect center. But ideally I would like some kind of center back
