I suspect he'll get a two year extension at some point, and that he'll be a Hawk for two more seasons unless he is more offensively dangerous. If not he'll be traded two years from now (with one year left on his next deal) and replaced by a developing bottom six center currently at Rockford (such as Danault, Carey, etc.).

Before anyone freaks out, I'm not saying he's not good or valuable. Some other team would sign him to lower 2C money (hoping he'll be a real 2C for them) and the Hawks won't (can't) pay that for a guy who will be a bottom six player for them. Bolland replay....
