And the river of piss running down the stairs in the 2nd balcony.

Sticky floors in the 2nd balcony - and the haze of cigarette smoke that rose up to the first balcony.

But that's my point: you, and Steve, and Savvy already have discussed it - and keep on discussing it here.
- StLBravesFan

Bottom line - it's irrelevant. Let it go!

It's innuendo and rumor and hearsay. Some people want to know more about what may have happened - but why? What difference does it make? Players have personal lives and deserve their privacy. We wouldn't want blogs talking about our personal lives either!

If it affects the Hawks, the FO will deal with it - plain and simple. It's not our job to know or presume or suppose what may or may not have happened.

Just sick of the rumor-mongering. You don't know me and I don't know you as well as some of you know each other. I'm just saying that it's time to stop it!

I may be falling victim to less than Alzheimers but still aging memory loss, but I seem to remember a game I watched with my nephew (who's a pseudo fan) where I was trying to explain to him how bad John Scott was at the hockey part of hockey. He proceeded to attempt 2 shots and broke his stick both times, resulting in pointless dribblers. Yes, we laughed our as*es, off, but then we felt bad for the guy embarrassing himself like that. When we reminded each other of how much money he was making for that, we laughed for him.
- krpjr

And when you saw John Scott on the Hawks TV thing they do on their website or when Comcast would show the stuff during intermission he seems like he's a real cool guy. Very nice, very active in charities, a prankster with teammates, etc. If there ever was a guy who deserved more hockey talent it's probably someone like him.

Unless Sharp's on ice performance next year is below expectations, then there is no need to bring this subject up. Maybe then there is a correlation between poor play and off ice turmoil. And maybe then it could lead to a trade sooner than anyone expected.

Otherwise: If you keep.talking about it, then you have a problem and you love soap.operas. Who the heck wants to know about their private lives. What happens in off ice social circles is c'est la vie and why do we need to be in the know about their private lives, anyway. If you see post about it, just skim down to posts about something else.

How about any news regarding prospects camp? Anyone look especially good against the other players, like they are much farther advanced? Or just keeping it simple in really nothing but glorified rat hockey. I know most prospects should look good in this setting. But cripes it is the only hockey during the summer. Norrell show up? Any chance Birch shows up and is on the radar again. Probably not. There are too many prospects for him to be in line at the end. Fournier, VanReimsdyck, a couple of collegiate dmen previous drafts might even show up.

The guys who swept up after the games would piss on the lowest part of the ceiling in the staircase just before the game ended. The ceiling was so low that tall guys had to duck.

Bowmans legacy is now tied to a 165 lb fin. See how that pans out down the road vs what Kesler brings to Anaheim.
- SteveRain

Two years for Teravainen to get stronger. During that period-of- time it is difficult to imagine that he is a big time minutes or points producer in Chicago. After two years, who knows what he might contribute.

But the here and now is Kesler. Two years from now he is a part time player playing how many games a season? At less than the stellar player he once was. In fact, what is the over under for how many regular season and playoff games that he is healthy and not hindered by old injuries even this season?

I cannot blame Bowman, however, trying to acquire Kesler for probably one last try for the Cup with this group of core players.

2014 Blackhawks Prospects Camp is July 13-18 at Johnny's Ice House, 2550 W Madison. I googled it, as no information was on their website.

Oh I agree, but if the Ducks or Kings win 1-2 Cups in the next couple of years, the Hawks don't and Teravainen turns out to be, say, sort of a one-dimensional perimeter player who's good for maybe 60 points a year, how does that decision look?
- John Jaeckel

Well if you are going to blame one player or a trade that did not gone trough, it will look bad. But even with Kesler that outcome could happen. Even if Hawks had Kesler and Spezza they might not win Cup. Winning it all is that hard nowadays.

Not that I´m sold on Ducks D and G. Canucks had better team that Ducks are now many years and even with Kesler (in his prime) they couldn´t win it all.

Now I wanna share some love with you all before I go spend my summer holidays in cottage near by one the thousand lakes we have here in Finland.

Here´s the love:

I´m totally aware that I might not see Hawks winning anymore cups in my lifetime. But I´m so grateful I had chance to see them lift the Cup twice. But still if they can´t win and even if they start to suck at some point, I´ll be always proud Hawks fan and support them. No matter what happens. For now, I don´t think there is any better time to be a Hawk fan. Enjoy!

Hey Louie, now that Mayberry has died off, we could do some great stuff with Casablanca. My favorite movie.

Andy ate too much peanut butter and can't whistle the theme. Maybe once he gets his hands on a nice root beer at the diner, Mayberry can return.

If it makes ya feel any better, Sage, we can switch to "A Different World," or "Martin," and nobody will pick a white character.

Don't like those shows, either.

But doesn't it seem strange that a town in North Carolina - the South in 1960 - didn't have any blacks at least walking around looking for a "colored" drinking fountain?
