Oh man here we ago again. Don´t you see that is not about the next season or season after that. It´s pretty sure that Kesler is far better player now but opinions might change pretty soon.
- MjulQvist

Actually it is about next season and the season after that - we're not playing for several years down the road here. You have a team that's built to win now.

ONE GOAL...or so McD says all the time. Kesler was the player they targeted/they needed and their star cornerstone winger wanted.

We don't know what TT is at this point. He will more than likely become a really good player/perhaps a phenomenal player. But we don't know if he'll be a center. Kesler was a known commodity.

Of course we know the flip side several players would have had to have been moved. And now we have Brad Richards.

Ok--it's me. I am really Jesse Rogers, and I monitor these boards for the Blackhawks since Scott Powers took my job at ESPN.

We're closing in on you--now we know you are in the 300 level and you drink beer.

After it was all said and done, Benning said something about they tried to get "the top offensive prospect" in hockey. He said the Ducks deal was the best one when that failed. Assuming he meant TT, then it was confirmed.
- NewToHockey

Hell, how could I forget that comment??? Yeah, it's been confirmed a while.

Maybe the Hawk employee (spy) is one of the trolls from another team that pop up here from time to time. Hank the tank would make a good rat.

It would be like when the FBI tried to find dirty lyrics in "Louie Louie": they reported "unintelligible at any speed".

Larry Brooks of the New York Post:

"I know what you — like me, and everyone else — were thinking when the Sharks lost four straight to the Kings after taking a 3-0 lead in the first round of the playoffs: This wouldn’t have happened if John Scott had been in the San Jose lineup."

They actually proposed analyzing ALL electronic communications (net, email, cell phone) for what they deem to be "hate speech," calling it a national security concern.

Therefore, I loves me some cops with tight asses.

The (frank)ing pops are 8 bucks. I go beverage free these days. The old man got enough of my money.

I have best seat in the house - leather La-Z-Boy recliner, a $12 six pack of something really good all the time, home cooked food, free parking, and no driving. They have priced me out of the UC.

But they do need to get paid back for Huet, Rusty and Monty.

Now I have golf money too.

Oh I agree, but if the Ducks or Kings win 1-2 Cups in the next couple of years, the Hawks don't and Teravainen turns out to be, say, sort of a one-dimensional perimeter player who's good for maybe 60 points a year, how does that decision look?

You guys - you, Steve, Savvy - are amazing: can't talk about it, can't say any more, people will get in trouble, against HB policy - but you do keep talking about it, with innuendo that you can't / won't substantiate.

I don't know what he did do - probably something - but now it's grown to "another player's wife/girl".

Un - phucking - believable.

I think this post is really unfair, actually. I'll leave it at that. Maybe you should read what I wrote again.

Reader's Digest version: I'm not going to discuss it here.

But that's my point: you, and Steve, and Savvy already have discussed it - and keep on discussing it here.

Same. No line to go to the rest room. I can smoke in my seat. Only go to 1 or 2 games a year these days.

I may be falling victim to less than Alzheimers but still aging memory loss, but I seem to remember a game I watched with my nephew (who's a pseudo fan) where I was trying to explain to him how bad John Scott was at the hockey part of hockey. He proceeded to attempt 2 shots and broke his stick both times, resulting in pointless dribblers. Yes, we laughed our as*es, off, but then we felt bad for the guy embarrassing himself like that. When we reminded each other of how much money he was making for that, we laughed for him.
