I love how it's open season to pile on Sharp. How he's suddenly the worst person who has ever worn a Hawk jersey. Kane's comments were exactly the same as comments all Hawk players were making about each other at the time. Maybe there was truth to them and perhaps not. But I think it was Byfuglien who told one of the reporters that Kane wore Batman and Robbin pyjamas, I suppose that was Buff telling the truth in an unguarded moment as well?

Dunno, but Bubba kept things pretty light in the dressing room. He has been missed for that, too.

Don't know him...tell me more.

Rangers first pick in 2010 (10th overall). Has had one serious knee injury in AHL 2012-13. Don´t know how high or low Rangers are with him but if you could get him for Rozsival I would be more than happy. He is big (6-5, 216 per eliteprospects.com) and nasty defender. A bit slow but I think he could turn out to be a useful 6th or 7th defensemen in year or two. Someone who could clear the crease in front of Cory and punish opponents. Don´t see him as pure fighter and probably Rangers didn´t see that way either when they drafted him.

I must admit that I don´t know how he has played in AHL. Anyone here who has seen him playing lately?

They were. The whole "they weren't interested in him anyway (which is further dumbed down to "because Teuvo is ready to be 2C")" argument is just ridiculous. After a while, ALL of North America knew the Hawks were hard after Kesler.

I will give Bowman credit, he went hard after him. That said, Bowman might have placed a lot of his career on the development of Teravainen (who probably isn't ready for anything but maybe some spot play at wing this year, hence WHY they went after Kesler and signed Richards).

Thank you John. I appreciate you coming out and setting the r3cord.straight. touching on one's personal.life is a dangerous road. I hope it works out for sharp because there isn't an in house solution for him.

People can believe what they want but in reality the Hawks are a like a duck in water. Calm above the surface.....frantic below.

Datsyuk, Toews. That's pretty good company. I don't think you can blithely say that there were a bunch of other guys who do what Kesler does for less.
- John Jaeckel

Bowmans legacy is now tied to a 165 lb fin. See how that pans out down the road vs what Kesler brings to Anaheim.

Who dared be a journalist instead of a paid mouthpiece.
- John Jaeckel

He's not the only one. Brandon Faber handles a mean stick of authority and doesn't think twice.

Miss sassone every day. Lazerus at least has some balls. Kuc and myers should just sit and repost whatever the Hawks say. No scoop. No insight. Just yes men/women

He sure did and he'd also the world's worst driver. But they do miss the comic relief. When it mattered buff was there.

The Blackhawk employee schtick would explain a few posters around here. You always suspect that, but when it's confirmed, I actually find it kind of pathetic. If you're an employee and want to contribute, identify yourself as such, so that your personal interest and possible professional orders to propagandize can be considered with your statemetns, instead of trying to spread propaganda where it doesn't belong. We get enough of the PR machine propaganda listening to Foley and Dumbczyk ad nauseum. But, at least we know where their bread is buttered and can consider what they say accordingly.

Or Steve, am I wrong and they just "monitor" the Board? I'd take a confirmation of that with a grain of salt, though.

Oh man here we ago again. Don´t you see that is not about the next season or season after that. It´s pretty sure that Kesler is far better player now but opinions might change pretty soon.

Has it been reasonably confirmed that TT was the wrench that stopped the cogs in the deal?

Personally, I wouldn't be shocked if Saad wasn't the deal breaker, but it is being leaked that TT was so we can fuel the prospect propaganda machine with hot air.

No . But it was reported by natty guys that TT was never on the table for Kesler so when Anaheim inclided Bonio no way Hawks could beat that .

My other question has always been even if Tt was included wasnt Anaheims offer better ?

The Richards signing is bigger then you think. It allows TT to move at his own pace. I think the 10 91 88 line is gonna be good.

Okay, I admit it, the front office ordered me to start the Mayberry thread after the Barney Fife comment so they could identify who the real subversives are. It didn't take long for us to find out. I hope you can still consider me just one of the guys.

You can put me at the front of the Freshie line, from all I have seen of TT he may be a keeper.I get that Kesler was a good fit for the Hawks, but at what cost?TT was dominating in the World Juniors from what I saw.MjulQvist happens to know him the best here as he is a fellow countryman and has watched him as he progressed as a player."Opinions might change pretty soon"I am thinking towards the TT side.

I've heard things. And basically the same story from multiple quality sources.

I'm not here to do TMZ crap. Even when I was pretty down on Kane's off-ice act, I stayed away from the gossip column crap (at least the specific innuendo). And I think I have learned from those days as well. I will just say this, I did not report much of what I heard then.

Also, HB has a pretty staunch policy against delving into players' personal lives.

Whatever happened (or didn't) it is likely a sad matter that affects the lives of more people than the player. Sharp is 32 years old. People make mistakes (and that is in no way my saying he actually did).

But I will report on whether I hear the Hawks are shopping a player. And I have heard his name has been in play all summer.

- John Jaeckel

You guys - you, Steve, Savvy - are amazing: can't talk about it, can't say any more, people will get in trouble, against HB policy - but you do keep talking about it, with innuendo that you can't / won't substantiate.

I don't know what he did do - probably something - but now it's grown to "another player's wife/girl".

Un - phucking - believable.

All emotion and hype aside, if you are Vancouver, don't you minimally want an NHL ready player with some upside? In the deal? So, as I stated before...ultimately if it comes down to Bonino vs TT, how hard of a decision is that. Since Saad was not on the table.

What did i say. Teuvo vs what Kesler brings to Anaheim. That's the gamble bowman rolled. So let's sit back and revisit down the line. If tt ever lives up to.the hype my money is he's at rw.

RE Hawks employees. Not sure. I know of at least one but I have suspicions on others. I could care less. Just find it funny. Same with guys who post here and then take guys posts and post them elsewhere.

Should we all get a legal disclaimer that stops it?

you can figure it.

I will say this I have never met John or savvyone face to face. I've met a few guys in here but what is crazy....is how do.so lay people have the same story and not have heard it from one another?

Again, it's not a taunting measure by any means but there are always people watching and I may be a chicken ... but I'm not going to be one to broadcast the details.

It'll come out. If not I'm at gamed and shoot me a pm and we can meet over a $10 beer.

OK! I'll talk! In third grade, I cheated on my history exam. In fourth grade, I stole my uncle Max's toupee and I glued it on my face when I was Moses in my Hebrew School play. In fifth grade, I knocked my sister Edie down the stairs and I blamed it on the dog... When my mom sent me to the summer camp for fat kids and then they served lunch I got nuts and I pigged out and they kicked me out... But the worst thing I ever done....
