A) He has held out in contract negotiations EVERY year he has been a leaf
B) He is incredibly slow
C) He makes a lot of bad pinches, and doesnt have the foot speed to get back.

scoring is not everything. The guy got to play heavy minutes on a top 5 powerplay. Rielly had 6 less points in 6 less games playing the #2 powerplay unit, and 3 mins less a game. If Franson was a Left handed shot, I dont even think he would still be a leaf

Cody Franson is terrible.

Ahh Franson is effective on the PP and that's about it. When he first got here he seemed to always get his shot through and he had a decent release. Now it seems like he's just going through the motions. Too slow.

Maybe, but McClements corsi is bad cause of the role he is asked to play as well as being over played.

Good thing the leafs got rid of Scrivens, if we had all 3 goalies he would prove to be the best goalie, and we would have a controversy on our hands!

McClement didn't benefit or help this team in any way. He really had, and has, no use or place on this team. His spot should be given, or at least kept open for, a fresh face or a Marlie who has earned it.
