Agreed! My loser reference had nothing to do with Winnipeg, all to do with Heatley and management if they sign him, hope that clears up what I said. Peg fans are the greatest and deserve better.

Even if it's a bargain I don't see how this would make any sense. Winnipeg needs to shore up their team defence and taking a liability like Heatley not matter how cheap, would only hurt the team.

Peter your my guy but the Minnesota Wild did nothing to stifle Dany Heatley and Devin Setogucci instead they did it to themselves and time has proven despite previous production in San Jose their performance and effort has fallen off the cliff.

Heatley does score goals still but his skating and effort makes him almost completely a liability. Heatley surely would have been a compliance buyout if he hadnt been injured against the Sharks to end his 2012-13 season. Setogucci had EVERY opportunity in the world to thrive as a scoring winger here in MN but he always stride late and an inch or two off the mark when his shot went uncontested. Seems a change scenary to the Peg didnt spark his offense either.

Ultimately I dont think Minnesota or Mike Yeo were the reasons Dany or Devin struggled with their games anc scoring goals. They both were out of shape last season IMO Setogucci looked round.

Bullpoop, this guy is done. End of story. I dont' care who he plays with, he's no longer mobile and can't hit the net when he does gain opportunity. He played with Parise, Koivu, Pominville, Granny and it didn't matter, he was slow, plodding and always late to the play no matter who or what line he was on.

As far as Seto is concerned, he was rumored to be highly overrated coming from San Jose, which is obviously why Wilson had the foresight to move him in what turned out to be a gem of deal for both sides really. Burns and Coyle in part of the deal.

Seto was good in Minny about 30% of the time and when he was hot he was hot, but his fire was extinguished as quick as it got started.

Actually he was pretty selfless in Minny. Was rumored to be well liked in the locker room. Was rumored to be mentoring and helping out the young guns before and after practices. Took the demotion to 3rd and 4th lines without question.
