First of all. Melnyk's too cheap to spend any money on private investigators. Hell the guy won't spend more than $50M/year on his team (salary wise at least).
Secondly, hiring a PI would be for not because Melnyk would realize, by the end of the investigation, that he is the problem with the Sens organization. This team will never be good until Melnyk sells a majority stake in the team or the whole team altogether.

i honestly have no idea if I like this signing...he seems to have been mostly terrible the last year or so?
i dont know..im gonna have to wait and see on this...i guess hes a capable 3rd line center? im assuming thats gonna be his role...or first line center with neil and greening is probably more likely |

I think he'll be perfect on the 3rd line, coming from nashville system, very good 2-way forward with some solid offensive upside (relatively speaking) |

do you think we are going to be able to re-sign him?
i dont... however, i've been feeling rather pessimistic about our short term future lately.
id LOVE to keep him, but if he so much as gives us the slightest "i'm not sure", or wants to wait it out this season to see how it goes, i think we should traade him IF we get a solid return (which i think we could).
