uhh, Bozak has been the number 1 for a few years. Talk to me when Turris puts up near .84 points per game, while being pretty strong defensively.
It's not even close. Bozak > Turris. Easily. - prock
I've missed you over the past few days, you make the off season so much more tolerable |

Ask that question on the Leafs thread and there's no argument... Turris over Bozak. Just because Bozak plays with amazing wingers doesn't mean he's a true #1. If you don't understand that, you don't understand hockey. Chemistry is nearly as important as skill, and while Bozak isn't bad, he's not as good as Turris. Give Turris a full year with Kessel and JVR (or a healthy Ryan and Mac for that matter) and he'd do better than Bozak.
Also, Carlton the bear is a beanie baby rip-off who's only white because Toronto prematurely blows it before making it to the playoffs so often he's permanently jizz-white |

NYI: Cowen
Ott: Strome - tuna99
no thanks, we have plenty of young defenseman who will be ready in 1-2 years. I'm not moving strome for something slightly ahead of schedule. |

Admittedly, intentionally. This place would be so boring if everyone was all politically correct, you know. If I came on here all calm and rational, I would get no fun out of posting here. It’s more fun posting things very emphatically.
Admit it, Sens fans, you love to hate me and you wouldn’t have as much fun if I wasn’t here.
I enjoy having Spats around. Trolling in his passive aggressive way. When you know what he’s doing, it’s actually amusing to see. And Dopps. Likes to pretend he’s all smart, talking about global warming and such, but he truly is as stubborn and stupid as a rock. It’s all very fun to me.
This is why I hate topshelf15. Can’t get him going. Ever. He’s like Mary f*&king Poppins with a rainbow up his a$$. - prock

so this has been a ruse all the long
so, what you're telling us is that you kinda sorta do think Karlsson is a pretty good defenseman |

Oh I believe the things I say. Im just very emphatic when I say them.
Karlsson is the best offensive dman in the league. Terrible defensively.

But he is not terrible defensively. He is just so good offensively people seem to forget he plays def and are quick to point out a simple mistake as if it was the end of the world. Even though defensive stat wise he is pretty good as well. |

I see drew doughty up there at 7 what a scrub must be terrible defensively
Nick hjalmarsson top 4 dman on a cup contending team must be terrible at defence
Pk Subban former Norris trophy winner, represented tc awful defensively
Notice how a lot of really good dman are ranked quite high? Maybe just maybe it's because they have the puck a lot |

i think the position has changed a bit in terms of the Top Dmen in the league...the traditional stay at home guy, while still valuable isnt always considered a top tier Dman like they used to be...the position is a little more dynamic now with guys like karlsson, subban, doughty and even weber being top end guys...moving the puck quickly and putting up points has become a bigger part of the game on the back end...just my opinion on that
anyways its one of those arguments that will depend on peoples view of the position |

smith would be a good sign for the sens, and if greening and condra are on the shopping list, take the first offer for both and add chris neil on top!
i was surprised legwand signed, good for the sens, now the sens need wingers able to score, so why resigning michalek????
andersons contract is expiring after next season, ship him somewhere and make lehner #1! mnnesota wants him for sure... sens have what now? 25 million cap space?!?!?! eugene, bring some dollars on the table for a star player or the arena will be half empty in all the games, right now, only away teams buy tickets because its 2 save points to take home with from ottawa in 2014/15... |

Smith is signed for this season and a RFA after that. Just odd that he would be in the top 5 of something with players like Karlsson and Chara. He played well with Kronwall after Ericsson went down with an injury but was brutal with Quincey...then again everyone looks brutal with Quincey aside from DeKeyser who can manage to help Quincey look ok. He should get PP time but Babcock prefers to play him to his weakness and make him kill penalties instead of getting PP time. |
