as far as i am concerned full blown negativity is disruptive of the boards.

Which is against CoC7

its okay to have a negative opinion, but if its non stop its trolling.

not his fault, he only had what he had to work with
- PinkSock

And what he had to work with would be much better than what he actually put on the ice.

Gino Reda said that unlike most RFAs, Reimer could actually get to arbitration. Reda: "This one could get that far and it could get ugly."

- peddy-93

I bet it does gets ugly with him. Or, he gets traded.. The trade route is best, IMO.

The centre group is as thin as it gets in the NHL.

Bringing in two bottom end D is not a 50% turnover.

Performance based reward? Did you see that from Carlyle last year?

A "useful 4th line"? I'm not sure what you mean. We don't really have a fourth line comprised of NHL players.

- fifty__missions

drop the full blown negativity or i am getting rid of you

i am not nearly as nice as Leafman is.

this is trolling.. all you are doing is spewing negativity about the team.. fan or not.. its not acceptable.

Wouldn't mind some new blood

Mark Morris, Troy Ward

Some fresh thinking to help old man Randy

- TheThrill

They need some fresh minds with the ability to be the buffer between the team and Carlyle - I would imagine there will be an "ex-player" type and an "up and coming" minor league coach named to the squad. 24/7 showed that Randy, while wienerly, is too old school and vague when it comes to his critiques, motivation and game plan. Especially in comaprison to Babcock who is leaps and bounds the better modern day NHL coach.

there's more to like than hockey. Plenty of players want tor raise a family and be left alone off the ice. I understand why guys would prefer to play in a place like tampa.
- Sammich

That's true also, but some players don't mind that at all. I mean, Kessel isn't the biggest fan of the media here, and he signed for 8 years. It really depends, but if this city was successful with sports, Toronto would be one of the funnest cities to be in.

He had much better players available to put on the 4th line over Orr/FML but he insisted on them. That's HIS choice.

This summer they have actually made positive moves for the team. There might be a chance things are changing and I for one am rather impressed to see it.

I have sneaking suspicion Reimer will end up in Dallas... but for what return I don't know... perhaps a D-prospect from their AHL squad or Glennie.

I was disappointed for MacIntyre that the Leafs didn't give him a $1M contract and assume he would be the back-up... I think he deserved that vote of confidence.

I would try trading him before it gets ugly, problem is there doesn't seem to be any trade partners, only Winnipeg and they seem to like that Hutchinson kid.

I know posters are saying they are being realistic, criticism is fine about the team but when your sole purpose is to post it 100% of the time, it is not a healthy environment for the site.
