Am I the only one that sees the leafs have an average potential playoff team and just need a few tweaks to become a regular playoff team? They are on the right track, takes time when the team hasnt kept picks until recently and when they are changing over management every 3 years. Hard to develop a winner if there is no continuity up top.

I don't see what you see in the current roster. They have lousy depth at centre, no fourth line to speak of, a fairly soft team that competes inconsistently, and a questionable defence. That is not "average playoff team" material.

RC will be fired. But I can't see there being that big of a gap in terms of how management and the coach wanted to use him. If that's all RC wanted him to do then he's an idiot. Clarkson still underachieved no matter how you look at it tho.

Agreed, When Steve Simmons has nothing to do he'll concoct some lame story about how one individual is lagging the team down. You don't think Komisarek told Jorges not to bother! These writers make there life a living hell. I would love to see Tortarella here as a coach with the media scrums!
