Man I'm gonna be very jealous with whoever gets McDavid or Eichel.

The Leafs boat is seriously floundering. Little or no fourth line, lousy centre ice depth, questionable (at best) defence.

Our new President Shanahan could not even convince a guy to pick Toronto over BUFFALO. Not exactly the glorious entrance into Leafland Shanahanaban was hoping for.

They are on the right track, takes time when the team hasnt kept picks until recently and when they are changing over management every 3 years. Hard to develop a winner if there is no continuity up top.

So my friends son plays AAA in Toronto, and one of the fathers knows an equipment guy who is friends with Clarkson....rumor is Clarkson was told by RC not to try and score and that he was brought here to check and grind and fight ..... when he got here at first.... this pissed off Clarkson from the start

Maybe RC is the problem with this team...who knows how else he has rubbed players the wrong way.???

I don't see what you see in the current roster. They have lousy depth at centre, no fourth line to speak of, a fairly soft team that competes inconsistently, and a questionable defence. That is not "average playoff team" material.

It's also hard to develop a winner when you constantly hire inept hockey minds to run the team.
