Ok guys, get ready. I'm gonna do something that I don't think I've ever done on here before. I'm gonna ask a legit hockey question.


If you could take 1 person from any team, who would it be? Age stays the same, the rest of the team stays the same.


Is it possible for 1 player to be the difference on this poop show of a team?

I would have previously always said Crosby without hesitation. The only reason I would need to think about it and consider Toews is the concussion history with Crosby. I know he's come back for a while now, but he hasn't gotten drilled in the head as hard as you can get drilled in the NHL since he came back either. But I would probably say (frank) it and take Crosby.

And yeah, Crosby on the Leafs? I'd have to say that could take them as they are now, to the playoffs. Biggest ripple effect the lineup you could want. Crosby, Kessel and JVR is the best line in the world, instantly. Bozak gets to play where he should be in a lineup. But the Leafs with Crosby might be kind of like the Pens who keep losing in the playoffs, don't know if they'd ever win a Cup though

guess that kind of would depend on how Rielly, Kadri, Nylander, Gardiner et al turn out with is yet to be determined

You refresh my memory, but were they as bad as Crosby? Crosby was pretty (frank)ed up. If Toews is already a couple of brain damages in as well, then for sure I just take Crosby.

The problem with Crosby's concussion symptoms was that they thought it was a concussion when it was really his neck. Plus, the closeness of the two concussions made the recovery period longer. Toews missed 20+ games with a concussion once and seems like the type of guy that would keep playing if he had one during the playoffs.

It's hard to see anybody avoiding brain damage while playing in the NHL. Most of them have it in one way or another.

Need to sign Holland, Gardiner, a backup goalie, and two more d-men.
