Frattin didn't exactly get traded for two firsts and a second. UFA day is stupid day. I'm not too broken up that we tried to sign Brad Richards and that didn't work out. I wish when we tried to sign Komi that he had signed elsewhere. - Zezel
A lot of mistakes are made for sure.
But if you have the cap space and you want to improve, you gotta do it.
I'm hoping this pietri that we signed turns out to be the new Raymond only with some defensive skill and a little more grit |

Raymonds career points per game is double frattins. Frattins best year(where he played 25 games) matches raymonds career ppg. And somehow ive always liked frattin more. - kylkri
I like frattin, thought he played well here. |

Hobos on 10 speeds for me. One dude can hang like 6 grocery bags full of bottles and cans off his handlebars; while wasted. Gotta support that poop. Mad skillz. - gravyface
lol yeah I've seen that. I've done what I consider some pretty hard cycling, gotten into some decent cycling shape. Then I see some of that poop and I'm like that's (frank)in' hard to the core. |

Raymond is a dime a dozen player...ok 360000000 dimes a dozen. I believe that he will have a good year this year. But after that he'll fade away and be bought out or waived, only to come back and have another shot at redemption and put up respectable numbers whilst making less than a 1/3 or what he's getting now.
I have no scientific data that I can post to prove it, you wouldn't be able to follow it anyway. Just trust me. And if I'm proven wrong, then we can revisit this in 3 years and laugh like scientists would. |

I do get what you're saying about the cap space. It is the Toronto Maple Leafs, they can afford it. What I am hoping is they did these cheapy 1 year deals for a long term reason. I'm sure Burke would have said Raymond was a steal for one year, I'm going to reward him with loyalty, maybe that would have worked out or not.
At this point, they didn't do anything hugely risky so far, I'm okay with that for now. |

Ok guys, get ready. I'm gonna do something that I don't think I've ever done on here before. I'm gonna ask a legit hockey question.
If you could take 1 person from any team, who would it be? Age stays the same, the rest of the team stays the same.
Is it possible for 1 player to be the difference on this poop show of a team? |
