Do we really need another "project" player like Kane though. There's gotta be a reason the Jets are tired of him and his coaches can't stand him.
- Smitty98

He will still produce and is a tough player to play.against... project player.based.on.what attitude?

Santorelli can put up points. You might want to look some info up on him before being so miserable about everything.

Theres been a couple other debbie downers today as well.

Leafs have been patient and smart for the first time.

I'm waiting to decide that a culture change is happening or they're waiting for a BIIG (frank) up.

Leivo needs another year for sure. Dominate down there, then step into the NHL.

I don't think a guy like him likes Winnipeg. He needs the Toronto spotlight and night life. I don't think he likes the team either.

Would go great with out core though.

And unlike "trying" a prospect, you actually know what this guy can do.

There's a reason he was healthy scratched a lot in Winnipeg........ IN WINNIPEG

Not like he's playing for the Kings or Hawks. If your compete level is so bad that you cannot find a spot in the line up 82 games a year. That's pretty bad

Assets:Creativity is the name of his game. Is shifty and a very capable playmaker. Can line up at all three forward positions, though center is clearly his best position.Flaws:Is lacking in defensive acumen, which limits his overall effectiveness at the NHL level. Also lacks the size to win puck battles in the corners.Career Potential:Skilled but undersized depth playmaker.

Maybe they are doing away with the "energy line."

Still think

Jvr - Bozak - Kessel
Lupul - Kadri - Frattin
Komarov - Holland - Clarkson
Marlie - Santorelli - Kontiola

Nothing to lose on these one year deals especially if some of the prospects are not quite ready.

Agreed. Suffered a little bit from his injury last year but not anything that should have long term effects.
