Next target is E Kane. I wonder is Nonis can pull off a spare parts trade like his master has. |

coughing the puck up and not being able to cover anyone in the defensive end zone are usually undesirable traits for an NHL defensemen...... unless you're the leafs I guess - Smitty98

Yes. Little less offensive skill but plays gritty and is better defensively. - Yeti1181
But does he fall down all the time?

If you want Grit, obviously you're going to look to the finns and Italians, it's only common sense |

It's not just that he's so damn slow, he gets caught standing still and gliding far too often. Those combined equal straight up disaster. |

anyone who thinks santorelli signing is not a good one
just dont type cause you have no idea.
45-50 pt player for 1.5 million who knows how to play at the NHL level is a HUGE steal...
yes, steal, you heard right.
i dont say it often, but excellent work here mr nonis. - big_dion

I’d like to get jazzed about Leafs’ moves, but let’s remember Kontiola/Santorelli are plan B. Leafs wanted to blow $8.75MM on Gorges/Bolland
just cuz players turned him down |

that photo must be worth millions (even if he is falling on his face) - not often you see the endangered MaceRay in the (frank)ing corner. |

I've been thinking the same thing.
I believe Kadri and Kane would be a nice duo. |

Sure. Kane is younger. Will work great with our "core".
Now call up Colorado and find a Phaneuf / Johnson trade. |

A couple of entitled malcontents?
But seriously, he's the kind of added offensive punch that's required to move forward. |

Do we really need another "project" player like Kane though. There's gotta be a reason the Jets are tired of him and his coaches can't stand him. |

I don't think a guy like him likes Winnipeg. He needs the Toronto spotlight and night life. I don't think he likes the team either.
Would go great with out core though. |

I dont really care how cheap he was, if we needed some scoring.. try a prospect (leivo) - DougGilmour_93
Santorelli can put up points. You might want to look some info up on him before being so miserable about everything. |

Yes, he's worth the effort and would be a star for the team.
It would have to be a trade involving picks and prospects because surely no player with any form of a NTC is waiving for Winnipeg. |
