LOL. Yes, its more than just the goalie.

Price for me though. Unmatched presence in the net.

But on third.

komorov-ott-clarkson would be pretty.

- CanadianBodmon

Would be great. Like I said earlier could be toughest line in hockey to play against. Mentally and physically.

the leafs ..the only team to deal with injures.. now we can sleep at night knowing they were a good team until injuries ruined the season.
- senstroll

The Red Wings didn't suffer any significant injuries last season, let alone to their #1 goalie.

And who was the back up?

As a Leafs fan I'd have to stay away from Quick. Emotional player, which can help him in LA, but here...

He knew he was never going to get a chance here.
- LeafMan

He might not get a chance anywhere else either. He might be stuck in the AHL. He might only get a chance due to injuries. Did the Leafs make him an offer?

Only locks I have are Kessel, Rielly and Bernier. JVR is my next closest.

Quick is over-rated in my books. He's GOOD, but not better than Hank, Price.

uhh, because of Orr/FML? I don't get it. What do they have to do with it? He was traded for a fourth. Because he never panned out. He showed promise, got hurt, never showed promise again. He's just not very good.
- prock

wrong again. He was traded because they would have lost him on waivers.

I'm not a fan of Joe at all but he also won a ton of shoot out games for Calgary. They benefited enormously from OT/SO wins.

Joe would be better than the options the Leafs have right now in the bottom 6.

So you're saying you'd rather have two enforcers on your line up than Colbourne? Sorry, not on my team.

Colbourne wasn't what he wasexpected to be, and never will, but he's a lot more serviceable than 2 face punchers who skate around the ice with their heads cut off.

- peddy-93

Colborne getting traded had nothing to do with Orr/FML. They could have kept all three. They got rid of Colborne for nothing because he was useless to the Leafs. At the time, he was so far down the depth chart at C (even with the centres the Leafs had), that he never looked like he was going to get a lick of ice. He was maybe 6th or 7th. Whether you want enforcers on the team or not, they were not competing for the same roster spots. In the long run, would it have been good to keep Colborne in the AHL for the season, as it may have helped when they had their top 3 centres out at the same time? Sure. But Colborne getting dumped had nothing to do with Orr and FML. Zero. I can assure you, Nonis was not sitting there thinking, do we want to keep Colborne? Or Orr? Which one will be keeping as a depth C.....
