yeah.. i want to tank.. and i want to keep tanking.. cause frankly a phaneuf, kessel, lupul, bozak, clarkson core group isnt bringing a cup to toronto.

but i dont get angry about it.. i just want them to lose hard so it forces management's hands to make changes.

this summer is more of the same.. change up the role players.. leave the same core that continues to fail and expect a difference

so yeah.. the leafs are going to lose.. probably a lot. and i honestly could give a rats ass.. the worse they are the better at this point.

- Dozzer

Honestly Bruce, that's a crock of poop. No one (no fan at least) wants to see the Leafs lose in that manner. Some one mentioned that the Leafs will either do very well or completely (and collectively) fall on their face. I agree, this will be a year of extremes. That doesn't mean that I want them to consistently lose, what kind of poop is that?

82 games divided by 6. monts = 12.6 games per month.

So yeah, it's pretty close to 3 months... isn't it?

No. Not remotely close.

stays pretty nice until right after Bernier gets injured.

WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED TO CAUSE A STAT THAT TAKES SV% INTO CONSIDERATION TO DROP?

uhh, because of Orr/FML? I don't get it. What do they have to do with it? He was traded for a fourth. Because he never panned out. He showed promise, got hurt, never showed promise again. He's just not very good.
- prock

So you're saying you'd rather have two enforcers on your line up than Colbourne? Sorry, not on my team.

Colbourne wasn't what he wasexpected to be, and never will, but he's a lot more serviceable than 2 face punchers who skate around the ice with their heads cut off.

Gold Medal says otherwise

GO CANADA

I think stats theyre pretty close, slight edge to Price.
The calmness Price brings is unmatchable.

People in his face and it never bothers him.

- CanadianBodmon

Lot more factors in that gold medal than Price. Both great tenders but I'll take Hank.

I can't stand Ashton.
- iTOLDu

As a punching bag I agree. But he gives the energy we need.

He's got a little offense in him (It hasnt translated to NHL yet).

Good size + speed = what our 4th line his for. He's what? 21-23? A PWF needs to grow into his position.

We should ask Kovalev to come out of retirement just to troll Carlyle.

I didn't watch too much of him tbh. I thought I saw someone on here say he put up 50+?
- iTOLDu

Put up 51pts, mostly from first line and 1st PP in Nashville.

because it failed. But that's how desperate the Leafs were, missing their centers to injury/suspension.

Funny how the Leafs' 2 slumps happened to coincide precisely with key injuries.

- Feeling Glucky?

the leafs ..the only team to deal with injures.. now we can sleep at night knowing they were a good team until injuries ruined the season.

They're both solid; gold medal (team had a BIT to do with it, I mean Luongo won one). Point is you can't go wrong with either

Leafs projected 2014-15 lineup
(Estimated $6.5-million remaining in cap space after RFAs signed)

Van Riemsdyk – Bozak – Kessel
Lupul – Kadri – Frattin
Komarov – Kontiola – Clarkson
Abbott – Holland – Ashton

Phaneuf – Robidas
Gardiner – Franson
Rielly – Polak

Bernier
Reimer

those 2 are a duo, played together with success

- PinkSock

Yup, same with Kadri-Frattin
