I was with my nephew yesterday, at his baseball tournament.

His team was struggling a lot last year, they weren't able to win much.

They got to the finals against Repentigny yesterday. The game went to two overtime innings, they finally won 1-0 and got the title. I never saw a game at that age where the pitchers on both teams were so dominant.

The kid who made the hit was crying while running around the bases. At the end most of them were, it was awesome.

Not a bad price for what it is but...

1. Smart TV option is a waste of $ seeing the Playstation makes up for it.

2. 60" is pushing it for what Ness will allow (apartment's not THAT big) 55" max if I'm lucky.

3. Only need something half decent for about 2 years since 4K will be the norm and cheaper by then... don't want to spend anymore than $800.

I mean, are there some receivers (and TV channels) that allows you to make full use of that technology? If your Illico displays 1080p, you don't make a good use of the 4000 pixels (or whatever) the 4K technology gives you. No?

I'm not an expert, but, I'm not sure it's worth it right now. (and I'm guessing they are pretty expensive)

I've always thought the same thing. I'm sure it can upconvert or upscale or whatever but it's not the same as a true source.

For TV, it's not, and won't be for a while...but seriously, I sat in front of it for a while, and after I left, and walked around the store, for the first 5 minutes or so I felt my life was in low resolution.
