With MB we can see the team has a clear direction. Even his most criticized and risky moves turned out OK. Experiments like Parros and Murray only lasted a year. What I like most about the Habs' management is their dedication to insulating our youth core, unlike his predecessors who let them fly free and wild with little to no direction.

Totally agree. Only move I haven't like was DD's deal. I feel like he's holding Galchenyuk back. But no one will give us any value for him so we have to look at moving Pleks as he still has good value and is older. But MB has definitely made the Canadiens respectable and a location guys want to play in. And that's awesome.

I think hes been as transparent as a GM for Montreal can be. It's exactly what he said he would bring to the table.

If they aren't popular decisions, he explains himself on why. Got to give the guy some respect.

Loved his quote from his press conference.

“My phone is never off,” he said. “We have cap space and we’re open to everything.”

The DD deal was definately a brain fart but the contract is not THAT bad. If only he can somehow put up some good numbers so MB can pawn him off on some unsuspecting GM
