Gleason back to Hurricanes. 1.2 million for the year. I guess it's easy signing for less when the leafs are handing you over the same amount. |

It's a shot at your ego though. Our broke asses just see the cash. Guys already got millis in the bank.
But (frank) ya! Fire me as much as you want for 20 mill hahah - CanadianBodmon

I think this says a lot about the management.... I am fine with all the tanking talk... its the reality we live in.
fans are ready to slit their wrists with another collapse - senstroll

Why would it be a joke? The only goalie to take the Leafs to the playoffs in the last decade. Isn't a bad tender. - Arctic_AARDVARK
we would have folded by game 82.
48 game season....no feat really...got scored on 14 times in the last 5 mins of the biggest game of his life.
the end. |

I say let them. I don want to watch boring hockey.. Or sound like an oilers fan - Arctic_AARDVARK
whether fans are talking about tanking or not is meaningless to the crappy hockey we will see anyways.
and is there really a difference ...sound like an oiler fan, or leaf fan ... still sad

Congradulations! Your fired, enjoy your wedding, goodluck finding a new life! - CanadianBodmon
Not exactly fired. More like: Enjoy your wedding, here's $25 million all at once as a compliance buyout. Have an awesome time with that money. When you get back from your honeymoon, I'm sure someone will be willing to give you even more money |

Last year I was frustrated we had no Cap space at the deadline. Meanwhile Montreal picks up a guy like Vanek for nothing and it gives them a huge boost the rest of the regular season (I know it didn't work out in the playoffs) but Montreal was rolling by then
With the prices so high right now for UFA's why not give the young guys a chance... and then have space to trade for a couple of studs for the playoff run getting them on the cheap because everyone else is up against the cap |

You realize that all the other teams played 48 games too right? And they all wanted to win.. But yeah, no feat whatsoever. He just carried the team into the playoffs. |

It's a long season. Leafs always do fine part way. Just never the full thing.
It's like eating half a pizza and going yeah!!!

When Bernie went down last year, Reimer got his chance, and failed. Move along. |

There's absolutely nothing sadder in sports than tanking.. If you want to be associated with that be my guest. But I say (frank) that. They aren't even looking that terrible lol.. Talk about a depressing fan base |

I'm pretty sure that's when the compliance buy-out window was open, and they couldn't really wait much longer.

Holland replaces Bolland
This new guy fills in another center spot,
and THERE'S STILL THE WHOLE SUMMER TO CHANGE MORE! - Feeling Glucky?
no FA's left. And the chance to make drastic change (dion) is gone. Looks like our D is set or at least we have the bodies. Up front we don't even have 3 lines, so if you move say Lupul, what do you get back?
It's tank time baby, i didn't want it but i won't fight it. |

to be fair..he played well...but so did the whole team including FRANSON and the D.
last year...the D stunk - Reimer didn't play great...so...the team plummeted.

Sad to say.. But Leafs must make a move for Heatley.
Only got with *hopefully offence left in free agency. |
