Leafs were a non play off team last year with a decent chance of being one again this year. Soooo Boyle for example chooses the Rangers. Doubt it is too much more complicated than that.

no need to be defensive gluck, and there is no way we can know for sure..it just seems that since the current core and management took over.. high profile players dont seem to come here.. whether its a matter of desire or not can be debated all day.. something i am not in the mood to do lol

just got one of those inlklings about it is all.

also, remember when RC left Anaheim, it was said that the players hated him? he is a task master coach.. that could be a huge thing.

The only guys that we know chose someone else over the Leafs are gorges and Brian Boyle. Boyle went where he thought he had a better chance to win (took less money to do so)and gorges who said he'd been a hab so long and conditioned hate the Leafs he couldn't bring himself to become one.

Why are they considering Legwand? Wasn't he pretty much ueseless last year?

its too early to say really.. maybe Nonis's plan is two tier.. and the trade route might be the more productive this year

I heard the Leafs offered Brian Boyle more than the 2x2 he got from TB. That is a guy that the Leafs could have used. Heard the LEafs had interest in Moore too.
