-Robidas adds a needed veteran presence and a R shot to play with either Rielly or Gardiner.

-Gunner was a subpar defenseman, held back our top pairing, and sacrificed better D for a bit of offense, something we don't need at all. Gives Rielly/Gardiner more ice.

-Polak strengthens our other pairings with a R shot, and is a better SAH D than Gleason, Gunner or Ranger.

-Komo is a 3rd liner who can play the PK and gives us that pest presence that is so valuable today. With more ice and more experience now can likely chip in ~10 goals.

-Did not tie up long term any additional cap, increasing our flexibility for next season and beyond (better UFA classes), and gives more Marlies an opportunity to either make or break

Not a fan of the Frattin trade but in the end it really is a nothing deal..I'm ok with what the leafs did in terms of not signing another cap killing brutal contract..

They did well imo and there still time to add via trade if right deal comes along..

Keeping flexibility the best move so far this summer..
