I didn't realize grabbing the butt of a police officer was an arrestable offense.
- aflyerpower8

Got to love Philadelphia.

Quiet Free Agency leads to drunk Giroux grabbings butts.

Just another notch on the Philly is terrible belt.

Well then he made some bad choices, but still didn't msmanage his money.
- MJL

I'm not sure I see the difference? Making a bad choice that involves money should be considered "mismanaging" your money. The two should be mutually exclusive. When you have to "manage" your money in a cap world, the margin for error is slim. Therefore, making a bad choice with money would be considered mismanaging your money.

JVR's rookies year, the flyers were 8 some cap trouble, an I remember arguing that whether he wasready or not, the flyers needed him to be ready to make things work.
if only they had a JVR equivalent rookie on D right now. Someone that doesn'thave to be great, but play 15 to 18 minutes a night and be competent.

I don't think they're mutually exclusive. If you buy something that you thought you would like, and then after getting it, it turns out that you didn't like it. Or it didn't perform as you expected. That means you mismanaged your money by making that purchase?

Thats the understatement of the decade. i mean, there were various influential citizens who tried for years to get Graham James' crimes swept under the carpet.

I personally was arrested but not charged, when I was caught underage drinking when I was 17. Never heard of the charges being dropped in a case?

Correctly calculating risk, balancing needs vs wants, optimizing asset value, and responsible budgeting seem to the rest of us to be integral parts of sound cap management, but good luck trying to convince him of that.

this happens everyday in America, easier to let a drunkard sober up then go through the whole criminal process, too much time for a officer to appear in court, for a slap on the wrist fine
