Given what Boyle signed for, and what wings offered, I think we had no chance at all. Certain our offer was higher than rangers, just as wings was. He went to the cup finalist. At his age, it's not exactly shocking.

Stastny I imagine we got outbid. And good thing. Leafs would have to have beaten St. Louis offer, not just match edit. They are a significantly better team with better taxes.
