The only thing that worries me about trading Lupes is that he plays with a lot of heart when in the line up. That is definitely something lacking on this team

I think Miller is pretty excited for the opportunity to become a top-3 goalie in the NHL, like Lack, Luongo, and Schneider.

What's the point of getting rid of Lupul? And JVR was being offered to Florida? I have a bad feeling that Nonis and Shanahan are about to (frank) up the few things that this team does have going for them.

I doubt Lupul actually goes. Im happy keeping him, but if they do move him they better have a good replacement in mind. While I would love to trade Lupul and sign Camms, I highly doubt it would work out so perfectly.

Schneider and Luongo have obviously been downgraded, it's not Miller, Lack, and Markstrom. Top-3 goalies in the world.

5.2 mill is a good cap hit for someone who gets injured every other week?

Yeah for a crybaby bottom-pairing Habs Dman who doesn't even want to be here.

Then we take whatever cap saving come from it and turn around and blow it on some FA signing that we will regret starting around October 10th or so.

Gorges plays with sub an, not bottom pairing at all.

Lupuls a great guy to have on your team for offense but he's definitely one of the better assets to move, to upgrade a lineup as we have several players like him that wait for a break out pass instead of helping play defense to move the puck out of our zone

Miller has had nightmares of playing on that ice since 2010. Not sure it's a good fit.
