He's a better player and brings more to the team than kule or Raymond IMO
He did everything RC asked of him and did it well, it's not a stretch that the guy could be a very solid 3rd liner. - Bigzby

You think Reimer or any other back up whose played NHL Minutes will be under two million..Brodeur was the Best Goalie in the World for a good length of time having that expierence and voice in the room even for 1 season could do wonders for our young guys!!!!! - lmrick76
Jist like he did for schnieder by whining out of town?
Being amazing 20 10 5 years ago does not equate to being amazing now. Hes not a team player if hes not the vocal point. Hes done. And 42...and cost nj the playoffs.
So.. Yeah |

So I'm guessing Bozak is the sole reason Robibust broke his leg 5 times in one week this season? - Not_Stee
I heard Robsie took a hammer and broke his leg so he didn't have to go into the Leafs' dressing room. |

If you mean 2nd line on a weak team, I can agree. - Atomic Wedgie
Before last season sure. I thought he was one of the few bright spots on last years team. And I was on the Grabo side of the Grabo vs Bozak debate. I think he'd do quite well in place like Anaheim for example. |

Fair enough...but NJ was his team...coming to a new team where nothing was taken away from him...you dont think he would have a different attitude?
and that means that Reimer is our Brodeur!(except nowhere near Brodeur) |

When they interviewed Georges after that game, he was nearly crying through some combination of anger/frustration/tantrum throwing. He was incredulous (sp?) talking about how "those guys don't respect people", they..... just..... man i don't know what to say.... thats um.... just disrepectful.
And here we are discussing why Georges didn't want to come and play with Colton and Frazer. It's insane. |

Bozak bought said hammer with Phil's Canadian Tire money. |

He might. But i doubt it. He jasnt even signed yet. Holding out to be a number 1? Not going to happen.
He ends up back in nj is my guess |

Forget about the attitude - focus on the fact that the dude is 42 years old and couldn't stop a beach ball last year.
He's done.

The Leafs just signed a 37 year old defence man to a three year contract...I dont think age matters to them! |

i said its not a surprise they were a worse team...
Mac and Grab can also score also
your other point makes no sense to what I was saying - senstroll
You were implying that the great possession numbers lost in Mac and Grabo should have made the worse performance no surprise.
What if they replaced Mac and Grabo with Crosby and Giroux? Would worse results be a surprise then? Crosby and Giroux are way below Macarthur and Grabovski in possession.
The arguement is pretty much pointless anyway since my *real* point is that the possession stats are flawed. In some cases they can be WAY off for both teams and individuals, over some fairly significant sample sizes.

It didn't seem to bother Clarkson last year.
Is there a problem in Nashville? Is the captain hated? Is the spotlight of the media too harsh? Is the team not committed to winning?
Oh my God, Spezza refused to go there! - Atomic Wedgie
To be fair, it seems like the Leafs were in on a number of players who chose to go elsewhere.

I know, right?
I said yesterday, in less than two years Dallas acquired two top line centers, the leafs havent been able to acquire one in 10 years. - Fakepartofme
... just like the Flyers can never seem to get a good starting goaltender.
I dunno why it works out that way, I am assuming it is just piss-poor management (given) and a little bit of luck in having the right available pieces when the right player comes up for trade?

Everybody talks about how the 3rd line is so important.
I'm just so glad the Leafs are back to our tried and true strategy of trying to put together a team of four 3rd lines. - Atomic Wedgie
Sheesh, did someone p*ss in your cornflakes this morning.
Clearly the Leafs are not a team of 4 3rd lines.
They are a team of 1 x 2nd line, and 3 x 4th lines.
