The team made their horrible mistake in December.
There simply was no cap space left to make more...specially now that we have another 1.8 million being paid out AGAIN to a player not on the team.

your opinion aside... they were the best possession players they had.. its no surprise the team got worse.

its fine to not like a player for those things you mention..but look at them without the bias. since they are gone now..they suck

I can't get on board with the idea that the team got worse because they lost all that posession with Grabovski and Macarthur.

Would Grabovski and Macarthur kept Bernier from getting injured, because last I checked the Leafs were in 3rd in the east until Bernier went down and Reimer sh1t the bed.

They didn't miss all that possession for 65 games, but they suddenly missed it for 15 games?

your very flawed game watching is much more misleading. we are not perfect..our eyes and minds fool us.
when you rely on this 100% like the leafs do.. you get a team that plays 7 playoff games in 10+ years

It is called a balance and it takes a while to build that. Chicago 9 years, LA about 8 years. The Leafs with their prospects have just started in the last two years to groom players in the AHL.

Meh, he can gain experience by being brought up.
What experience does he need to sit on the bench for 60 games.
He's had plenty of experience in the AHL being a starter.

Not enough experience is pure BS.

Horrible cap management will lead to the leafs with another top 10 pick.

But ya we do have other D I suppose to be brought up.

They have like 90+ days to shed 2 million in salary.

Other team have gotten better around them.
Other than slightly improving the D, they are the same team. But there's still time left, who knows what happens before September.
