Kulemin is coming back if they don't get a 2nd\3rd line winger. A return of grabo and kulemin would be nice. But no way the leafs sign grabo to 5 mil. I don't think any team will.

They probobly tried to overpay but players are too scared of becoming that next overpaid guy in Toronto. They know they are getting overpaid. I'm still hoping for a 2\3rd line winger type. A 3rd\4th line center. Franson looks like he is on the way out. Maybe franson and Reimer to the Peg for someone. Also still need a few depth signings for the 4th line and the Marlies. Still not confident lupul or phaneuf is safe. We will see about that. All in all I liked the free agency day. We got players who are able to compete and lead. Something we were clearly lacking all season. The big win for us today was not signing bolland for 5.5 million over 5 years.

Yeah, Toronto wasn't an option for a lot of players.

You act like it was on purpose! It wasn't. Toronto had many offers out there, but no one was dumb enough to sign here. Robidust was like option c.
Nonis handed out his stupid contract back in December. 4 years for a player who's only played 48 games in the NHL, not the best signing.

Lupul is our secondary scoring! With bolland and Raymond gone, he and Kadri are pretty much it. It would be dumb to trade him

You can't say bolland was part of our team last year. He played healthy for 10 games. As for Raymond he will be missed but he dosnt compete, he dosnt have heart, no leadership. All he can do is put up 15-20 goals 45 points a season. I won't miss him much.

We missed compete and heart. What the biggest problem last year was giveaways and just overall defense. I think they have upgraded that nicely. You can expect one more d to come in for franson.

They aren't done yet. They will get more scoring. But what I do know is that kadri and lupul producing is going to be a huge factor in making playoffs or not.

As of right now, I would say Gardiner. However, I have to believe that there are still things tombe sorted on the back end
