I'm horrible at this. I usually undervalue Leaf players so I would probably say yes to this deal.
- coolehmon41

undervaluing leaf players is probably the right thing to do in most cases. If you look at the free agents remaining, 2 are former leafs. Kulemin and Grabo which tells you they aren't on anybody's must have list.

Agree, moved salary and used that money to sign pieces that he needs. I thought the Stralman signing was insane but after hearing the panel break down the signing they almost convinced me that he's worth the money
- coolehmon41

Yeah I may be wrong on the Stralman signing because I forgot there's also Garrison, Hedman and I can't remember who else but Stralman won't be relied on as the top guy so he may do well there.

B. Boyle signed cheap, got a solid back up I believe in Nabakov.

Have a nice night Frank. Don't forget to lock the Fiat.

Hilarious. Your talent is clearly wasted on HB.

Okay, I'm done.

I'm actually surprised that Kulemin isn't signed yet. Maybe asking too much? Especially considering B. Boyle just took 2 million.

I'm not that surprised. He isn't tough nor does he score. Other teams would have noticed that. He isn't that tough to play against.

I wouldn't pay him more than 2 mill. He probably wants something ridiculous like 4 mill a year or something which he isnt' going to get in this league.

Tampa and Buffalo are the most improved teams in our division. The habs and sens took a step backwards. Boston lost Iggy, I hate what florida did Colombus and Detroit did nothing. I guess I should mention that I like what we did today and I know we're not done yet

At 2 mill a year, we may as well take him back if no one else will give him that money

I was impressed by Buffalo as well.

I agree with your statements regarding the other teams. I'm not quite sure what Holland is doing in Detroit but they always seem to get the most out of their guys.

It's not true. Ericsson is fine I think he's just pissed at what happened today.

Does this seem like a wussy to you

If the Wings traded Helm Babcock would probably play Glendening 20 minutes a night...god I would have to kill myself or stop watching the Wings.

I like Helm even if he can't stay healthy. I would think about trading him but not for Franson. Maybe to the Jets (since he's from there) in a package for Big Buff or Bogosian or something like that.

You could look at it that way. Or you could look at it as it's nice to see our team has learned from previous errors and will not overpay what they feel is fair value for team and player.

Or....

Our starting goalie went down and our joke of a backup couldn't make a save. But yeah, the rest of the team folded after that too.
