You're completely misunderstanding the entire point. I never said it was the fans/medias fault players under perform. I said many players avoid our team/market because of the added, and highly sensitive/intense media and fan pressures.

When all leafs past or present are asked they 99% all answer there is not a better place to play when your winning.

If you had any pride in your game and thought you could help there's no reason not too sign.

The team was the 3rd best team in the east with 20 games left for (frank) sakes and were all ready better than last year.

Trades will be made in the coming weeks, Nonis is aware he can't dress this roster on opening night. Kuli will be gone, Reimer will be gone, and hopefully we can shore up the D a bit more and find another decent center.

I'd rather be in this position that spend to the cap and still have a roster that wont go far...

Again, im not saying it's not justified.

But it is what it is. Most of the better players in the league would prefer to play away from the spotlight that is Toronto than in it.
