I'd like to see some Marlies grads in our bottom 6 and lose the punchers completely.

i may think phaneuf is over paid.. but i also think FAs are overpaid

In the long run its not so bad for us. For all we know, without as much pressure on him to be the only shutdown guy his game can return to shape.

And theres no too much we can do with our money now anyways unless it was a blockbuster where we didnt have enough cash.

The teams got a new mold coming out. I think boyle is a great fit now for us if we can get him. Give setoguchi a 1 year cheap deal to see if he cam get things going.

Leafs drafted for skill, and signed/traded for grit, leadership, and defense, without breaking the bank.
