He gets one pay day. ONE chance for THE contract. I don't blame these guys at all until they start pinching pennies. Guy has not made much money over the course of his career. Now is the time to cash in. an extra $1M per year for 5 years is a lot of money when you'd been making a $1 or $2 per irregularly. Remember, he came to th Rangers on a PTO. Guy was almost out of the NHL. I'd be searching for the $ and term too.
