He joined the SNYblog guys on a podcast the other night and didn't really have much good to say about Dylan McIlrath, so there you go.

Alot of the reason we made it was hank. Lets not kid ourselves. He won the series vs Pitt. I loved tht team like everyone else but I'm smart enough to know that moves of improvement needed to made ie: improving the pp. Unfortunately everything can happen over night and we couldn't be stupid with certain players with ether excess cash or term. We knew this summer would hard and it's here. The core is still intact and once we get the RFAs in it should settle down.

Also a big thing is this roster isn't set yet. Gorton said in his conference call today that the team still wants to add a forward whether through trade or free agency. Depending on how much the RFA's take up cap wise could help determine what type of forward they get.

I am excited for Dan Boyle. Really think he could be the key to our powerplay finally getting into at least the mid pack of the league. I don't like the Glass signing, but I have eaten crow before and would love to do it again if he proves us all wrong.

Boyle for two years is perfect. He is a player that has to be accounted for by every opposing team. He is a difference maker that took less $$$ to be a Ranger. The other teams who would pay more are not all stupid. A leader and PP upgrade to replace Richards. Key acquisition. You are so right.

I know, I have nothing against him either, said it more tongue in cheek. I honestly don't get mad about this stuff anymore. 6-7 years ago, I would have destroyed my neighbors car over the Glass signing.

Sweet -- yeah I work for a network of Charter Schools in Brooklyn that is probably some of the top schools in NYC (Not counting tuition private schools). The good thing is, the kids are better behaved and held more accountable. The bad news is the days are a lot longer than your regular NYC Department of Education Public Schools.
