Won't happen, in 40 + years how many have there been? 2/3? And they've been so marginal, I can't even remember them. Rich Pilon for a draft pick? He might have been a waiver pk up, highly unlikely. - B2B76
They made some minor deal last year, but I forget what it was. Snow is unconventional, so you never know, although I admit very unlikely. |

Tanner Glass might've been last in the league in relative corsi....but Manny Malhotra was 2nd to last and a lot of us were open to signing him. Brian Boyle was 16th to last. |

When did the Hawks get Richards, how did I miss this? Or did this happen recently? |

Who the (frank) knows? People kinda just throw it around when it helps their argument for or against a player and dismiss it when it goes against their argument. |

Listen I'm just not going to underestimate what or who it took to get is to the Finals, we lost two playoff performers who will not be there to provide the same play next season, now we have to hope their replacements step up and do the same, the continuous turnover is not going to ever produce a winner, Sather just throws shyt at the wall and hopes it sticks |

People have a right to different opinions, Vin. It's should never get personal when people don't agree. I like the Boyle signing. Others do as well. Some don't. There are reasonable arguments to be made on both sides, and I don't think the answer is obvious one way or the other. But, no matter what side we are in, we should always root for the acquired players. I once called Brassard, in temporary anger, a 26 year old bust out, and now I love the way the guys plays. - Pete V
Also a big thing is this roster isn't set yet. Gorton said in his conference call today that the team still wants to add a forward whether through trade or free agency. Depending on how much the RFA's take up cap wise could help determine what type of forward they get.
I am excited for Dan Boyle. Really think he could be the key to our powerplay finally getting into at least the mid pack of the league. I don't like the Glass signing, but I have eaten crow before and would love to do it again if he proves us all wrong. |

Im just going by Boyle's own words. He said he wants more money, and a bigger role in his next contract. Which I assume meant off the 4th line. - mdw7413
There is no way he's gonna see anything different in Tampa, they have 9 forwards who are better for sure |

I really hope we can get Grabo or Vrbata, if not I want to see Duclair start the season with us |

And I won't root against Boyle but I'm gonna be extra pissed if this move fails, how many PP QB's is this? |

Glen will give you a tutorial. As a bonus, and for the low cost of three installments of $14.99 he will also give you a seminar of baseball advanced stats categories and explain why Mike Trout is better than Miguel Cabrera. |

But this team has been in the final 4 2 out of the last 3 years & made the Stanley Cup Finals this yr. I don't like turnover either, but you have been crapping all over Sather all day & he has had FAR more hits than misses over the last 2/3 years. |

Alot of the reason we made it was hank. Lets not kid ourselves. He won the series vs Pitt. I loved tht team like everyone else but I'm smart enough to know that moves of improvement needed to made ie: improving the pp. Unfortunately everything can happen over night and we couldn't be stupid with certain players with ether excess cash or term. We knew this summer would hard and it's here. The core is still intact and once we get the RFAs in it should settle down. |

I mean lets be honest, every player when asked is gonna say yea I want to stay. They won't be a tool when asked and be like get me the frank out of here. Pouliot and Stralman said the same thing. This stuff happens, I have nothing against Brian Boyle |

It's gonna be funny if we all find out this was all Gorton and not Sather behind most of these moves haha |
