I am hearing the Rangers want Dan Boyle at cheaper rate than $5 million per. Could offer him 2 years at $3.5 per.

Still would be cautious on him but at that price, I would not be mad.

Easy to say that until we try and replace them. Sorry to be a broken record, but these deals should have been handled during the season. Pouliot and Moore especially, Stralman as well.

I am just mentally preparing now for the 8 million per year deal Rangers will give Statsny lol

Chiasson is a good role player. Agitator capable of putting up 30-40 points. The other two idk, but I know they are not the Stars top forward prospects. Richardinson, Faska and Ritchie. Odd deal for Ottawa.

I really hate to do this even though we're all guilty of it at one time or another..

Barring some sort of miracle plan executed into an art form: force Sather to retire.

Not contacting a guy like D Moore for 5 days before UFA period is negligent. Players talk and this will leave a bad taste in the mouth of every guy in the locker room who was close to Moore.

It's one thing to play hardball and stick to your guns. It's another thing to walk away from a guy like he is nothing more than a number and be a total Richard by not even calling him for a week.

I'm not a Sather hater. Sather has done some great things as GM. I think the guy has even been able to atone for most of his blunders (see Gomez for McDonaugh). This is simply poor conduct.
