Can't look at it like that. Too many factors go into why players end up on the market. Just because he doesn't fit in to SJ's plans doesn't mean he can't fit in here.

Boyle left money on the table to sign with NYR. Felt they gave him best chance at winning. Hopes he is a piece that helps put them over edge

I'm just not convinced. I watched plenty of Sharks games while working late. I remember on more than one occasion thinking back about NY being rumored to get Boyle before and how happy I was that it didn't happen. At no point did I watch him play last season and think he was a better option than any of the Rangers 6 blue liners.

I would much rather have Conner Allen and the cap space.
