I wonder whether the Rangers really inquired on him. I would have been fine with that deal, especially given the direction with our UFAs.

Seems like the Rangers play will be Dan Boyle, and who knows upfront.

We lost Brad Richards. Say what you want about the guy, but he was a key cog in our center depth. Replacing him with Miller is pretty abysmal and a huge step backwards.

I do not agree. BR started off great but severely faded. With that kind of cap hit, I'd take JT Miller as my 3rd line center any day. Give the kid more than a few days in a row in the NHL.
