No, when he signed the thought of him playing RW with Giroux was mentioned. He did have a hat trick vs the Isles playing RW on Giroux's line.

I wanted them to try him on G's RW all season. My fear is that if he doesn't work in that spot, he's useless. They've tried him everywhere else.

Unless the Flyers decide to play Lecavalier with better wingers. At this point he's not a good fit with Simmonds and Schenn. Maybe he'd work being flanked by Voracek and Read?

If a player needs the planets to align in order to have a respectable season, he shouldn't be on your team. Wouldn't it be easier to just play Akeson on the third line? He looked fine in the playoffs and if he doesn't work, you look for someone cheap at the TDL

As a player he's like Adam Hall, but younger, more skilled, slighty more mobile, and not as good at FO's.

He's basically an upgrade to VDV.

Everybody leave an eye patch and Tennessee whiskey out tonight before you go to sleep and maybe, just maybe Poile will take Vinny off the roster in the morning.

I'm 100% with you. Ideally he is moved. He simply doesn't fit with the roster.

That's great for them. Despite playing bad in NY at the end of the contract, CHI just got a legit 2nd line center at the price and term of a 4th line center. Kane is gonna get that man's game back in form. (frank) I'm glad we aren't in the Central Division.
