I don't think we are worse off than last season. Pretty comparable. Hard to say who will get Hartnell's spot on the top line. But whoever it is should have a good year.

This one is the closest analog to AMac. Got 20% less on the open market.

The Flyers could've easily signed Ehrhoff to the same deal. They have the space for it. But it's not a fit for Ehrhoff.

Nobody is burning a Flyers jersey. You will have your chance to defend Holmgren's legacy as the season rolls along. That fool left them with little flexibility that will take a while to clear up. How he still has a job with the team is kind of laughable.

adding youth to lineup while setting yourself up for the future could be the way to improve and not be cap strapped every single year.
