It is where the Flyers have struggled before.....but there were some pieces out there that really could of helped.......I sure wish all those NHL GM s had watched Vinnies first 6 weeks, where he was on that 34 goal pace.....would be nice to have some room...oh well

It's not as ridiculous as last year, but FA day is just one where if you NEED to dive in, your team has some problems.

The Flyers, flaws and all, shouldn't be worse than they were last year. There are a few scenarios, plausible scenarios, where they could be better.

With where this team is, development-wise...I'd rather they not do something foolish. Make this year one where these young players sink or swim, make the leap or not.

Next year at this time...think the Flyers' cap situation will look slightly different, and then we'll know a lot more about this team's direction.
