1.1/yr is a solid deal for a third line grinder

Nashville hasn't done anything yet. Have a feeling Vinny is going there.

They're lying in wait. Then, as soon as no one's looking, BAM! Out comes the Weber to rain hellfire on down from above.

So I've seen one huge bargain (Ehrhoff), a couple reasonable signings (Raymond, Malhotra, Gilbert, Fayne), and some ridiculous ones (Bolland, Pouliot). I don't believe we could have gotten Ehrhoff at the price PIT did but good for them grabbing a soon to be 32 year old top pair d-man to come in at that price tag.

If he gets injured, that's $4M to live on for the rest of his (and his family) life. Sure he could get another job, but my guess is that he's not going to doctor, lawyer, etc...
- leon neon

Ehrhoff made $17 million the last 3 years before this deal. That's $21 million, plus he's going to be getting like $9 million from the Sabers over the coming years. Financially he's covered.

I was thinking that about Edmonton.

All that money for Nikitn, Pouliot, and Fayne. Yikes.
