Orpik got over 5 for 5... lets face it, Nisk could get 7 mil for 7 years and it would make more sense.

Overall, like the moves so far today. Have no complaints about Comeau, Greiss, and Ehrhoff signings.

Going forward I think its best for the Penguins to sit back, wait for the price for 3rd & 4th-lines F's come down (ie, Kulemin, Goc, etc...), and see if any interest in Scuderi can develop. If not, would be best to move Paul Martin for some younger Top-6 help.

Ah. Thought it was possible trade targets for acquisition.

Zatkoff is as good as gone in my opinion; The extra $600K would help a bit. Maybe Buffalo would take Adams for conditional 7th to for veteran depth and leadership (ie, helping lead them to Conner McDavid)? Would free up $1.3M between Adams and Zatkoff.

Jussi is worth the 4 mil a year.

We have been laughing at the Orpik deal, and are entertaining ourselves with what Nisk will make and not be worth the hit.
