Unless they want to go with Greiss and Zatkoff free's up $4mil in cap space. |
|
|
|
And where is the poster who was so adamant that Hiller wouldn't get that much. |

I don't think Martin gets moved till Nisk signs.. |

Molinari making it sound like pens going for only one more signing...kind of disappointing if that is true. |

John Vogl @BuffNewsVogl 35s
The Sabres have added $8.15 million to salary cap so far, leaving them $11.85 million from cap floor. Still some work, but much easier now.
HERE, TAKE SCUDERI!!!! |

If Pierre McGuire ended up as the Penguins Gm, we would be cheering for Hiller he just said on TSN. |

With those offers and the signings made today, I would think we would have between 5 and 6 mil - kfinl170
According to the post gazette the other day, these RFAs
They are forwards Brandon Sutter, Nick Spaling, Jayson Megna and Bobby Farnham and defensemen Simon Despres and Philip Samuelsson.
Based on minimum offers...about 8-9M I think

Greg Wyshynski @wyshynski 3m
Pierre says he would have targeted Jonas Hiller if he were GM of the Penguins. I really hope this becomes his bit, going forward. |

Agree, he won't go until all the upper level dmen have signed |

Need a top six forward. I guess Kulemin would be a second liner here.

Martin's value should be quite high once Nisky and Robidas sign. Lots of teams want D, very few available. |

Too much. The guy is one of the biggest disappearing acts in the NHL. Minnesota will regret this one.

Why limit your market, when teams that wanted him will want Martin also. I think the return will bring back a top 6 forward and maybe a mid round pick. |

Robidas has signed, only Niskanen left for big money. There is clearly a market for Paul Martin. |

Thomas Greiss was told by Penguins management he is being brought in to compete for starting time. Pro Scouts see starting potential |

Isn't Strahlman still available? I would consider him in that group after a strong year. |

If healthy, the Letang deal may not look that bad when all is said and done. |
